Pinar Okal Kelesoglu is a textile engineer with 20 years of international work experience in home textiles & contract business in Italy, Turkey and worldwide.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering from Bursa-Uludag University. During university, she collaborated with various European organisations under the framework of the European Union projects. As a consequence of working on EU projects, Pinar arrived in Como to work for an association. This has been a milestone that changed her entire life and started her professional carrier in Italy.

Recently Pinar founded TESSIDEA, a consulting firm guiding textile companies to generate and expand their business in Turkey, Italy and worldwide. TESSIDEA helps clients discover market opportunities and develop trustful partnerships through her professional and high-quality services.

Pinar encourages woman empowerment in business and strives to collaborate with women from all over the world. She is a member of ARYA Women Investment Platform. and European Women Association She supports Como International Club as Vice President of the Board.

She is a lifelong learner, loves connecting people and meeting new cultures, crowded tables and photography. Her life motto is “Know Thyself (Nosce Te Ipsum)”, written 2400 years ago in golden letters at the entrance of Temple of Apollo in Delphi. It is a search that suggests man to know himself, to make a change to reach his own best self, building himself according to his own desire.
